Overview

This sustainability programme encourages participants to reflect on their personal and workplace environmental impact, and identifies ways to reduce waste and improve sustainability practices.

 

Through this programme, participants can also develop a growth mindset and set long-term goals for their personal and professional development.

What will MY PEOPLE learn?

  • Identify company values around sustainability and Kaitiakitanga
     

  • Reflect on concepts of resource and waste and create a definition of sustainability
     

  • Identify ways to impact environmental sustainability personally
     

  • Apply the LEAN thinking model of ‘8 Wastes’ to own workplace
     

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and sustainability within your workplace
     

  • Apply sustainable thinking to own skills, career pathway and future – foster a sense of personal agency:
     

  • Apply a growth mindset to own learning approach
     

  • Set long-term goals for self and family
