Who we are looking for
We are seeking a passionate facilitator with relevant qualifications and experience to deliver vocational training in the workplace and training in the community.
Experience with facilitating learning for diverse adult learners is essential, and it’s highly beneficial if you’ve delivered group workshops in areas such as leadership, digital skills, financial capability, and work-readiness, along with providing 1:1 coaching.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
Hours will vary depending on our clients, programmes and cohorts but will typically involve:

Planning and delivering high-quality training

Running engaging, practical sessions that meet learner and employer needs

Adapting delivery for diverse learners (including Pacific and Māori)

Building strong relationships with learners, employers, and stakeholders
-
Tracking progress and completing required reporting
-
Providing learner support and helping improve programme quality
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
We are looking for an individual who possesses the following qualities:
-
Passion for empowering adults learners from operational staff to leadership level
-
High level of organisation and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Confident engaging trainees, employees, leaders, and external training providers to ensure smooth delivery and strong outcomes.

Strong skills in administration, reporting, and experience with using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.

Proactive and solutions-focused, able to adjust learning solutions to meet operational needs.

Effective communication and interactive teaching style. Uses storytelling as part of teaching.

Creativity in designing learning materials that extract underlying digital skills from workplace documentation, enhancing learners' capabilities and self-confidence.

A commitment to continuous personal development, reflective practice, and knowledge sharing in teaching.

Empathy, warmth, and a strengths-based approach to education, with an understanding of New Zealand cultures and Te Tiriti O Waitangi in the context of educational practices in Aotearoa.

Confidence in engaging with Māori and Pasifika learning models.

Proficiency in generating weekly reports, maintaining attendance records, and handling administrative tasks as required.

Possession of an adult teaching qualification, such as NZCALNE, or a willingness to obtain one.
