Together, bridging the digital divide
Why we do this mahi
Te kaupapa o ā mātou mahi
We know that our tech workforce comprises only 4 percent Māori and 2.8 percent Pacific peoples*. Technology is all encompassing in all aspects of our lives today, and it is important that our workforce represents our society.
We have designed this initiative specifically for Māori and Pacific peoples to address this gap, develop digital skills and ensure the best career outcomes. We won’t just be providing digital skills training – we’ll also support you with new and exciting career opportunities with tech.
This is a unique partnership between TupuToa, Microsoft, including training partners Auldhouse and Zeducation, as part of Microsoft’s global skills initiative.
